(low inventory until mid-Feb. Might have one or two extra. Contact me if you NEEED them ;))
These popular beetles are known to live many, many years as adults (no guarantees though as we don’t know how long they’ve been adults). Asbolus verrucosus’ common name comes from their tendency to play dead when bothered, combined with a powder blue colored coating they excrete on themselves to protect them from the sun. They feed well on carrots and dried dog/cat food and various fruits or veggies. They don’t need additional humidity or water, though a piece of bark to hide under and an occasional squirt in the terrarium won’t hurt.
